Welcome to our VOX Cultural Digest, Issue N.21!
What’s the secret to making real progress in learning a foreign language?
To start speaking right from the first lesson or to further hone one’s language skills our teachers recommend VOX students focus on verbs.
Verbs are the action words in a sentence, they describe actions and states. They are the most important part of any sentence. They’re essential in all aspects of communication: writing, reading, listening and speaking. A sentence without verbs would be like a sailing yacht without wind: it would be useless!
If you want to sound more polished and professional when speaking with others focus on verb conjugation and verb patterns. Being good at using verbs is not easy, but it’s worth all the effort you put into it.
To help you get started on that journey we have compiled a list of books to study verbs in your target language. On top of that, when signing up for any German or English language course you get free access to our Quizlet classes for each level.
