TELC
The VOX Language School is a certified TELC examination center. We offer both group and individual lessons to prepare you as best as possible for the TELC exams, which you can take directly with us.
TELC certificates are required for integration and residence permits (A1, A2, B1), obtaining Swiss citizenship (B1), professional activities (B1, B2), access to universities (C1), and recognition of foreign diplomas (B2, C1).
Exam preparation

Vox school is in the complex well organized and offers both private lessons and small-group lessons. I liked also the possibility to attend the course online, that makes it even more flexible and gives you the possibility to attend the course from anywhere. I think that one of the advantages of the school is that the teachers are very well prepared. I am enjoying my German course with Larissa, she is very professional and she has very good teaching skills. I also appreciate that she prepares the class in advance and that she always prepare for me a summary of each lesson, that is very helpful for the learning process. Because of my experience, I strongly recommend Vox school.
The school is perfectly located for cars or public transport, the administration does their best to accommodate your preferences. My teacher is competent in teaching and also preparing and understanding the structure and grading for exams.
I took some swiss-german courses with Silvan per Zoom. It was perfect, efficient, well organised. This school has very friendly teachers. Recommanded.

Although both were good in their respective segments, I found Vox especially impressive for its pleasant learning environment and excellent facilities. From the start, I was supported by Maria, who made my onboarding smooth and welcoming. Later, I had the privilege of learning with Professor Alexander, who truly goes above and beyond for his students. He makes learning fun and engaging, adapting his methods to ensure everyone understands. What really stood out to me about this school is that you genuinely feel they care about their students and are not just running a business. For example, there were times I couldn’t attend class, and Alexander kindly offered one-on-one sessions to help me keep up with my classmates. Great place to learn German. The teachers and the admin team do a great job of creating a very personalised experience. May seem expensive at first sight but you should consider that Vox do one level (A1, A2 etc.) as one course, rather than dividing a level into 3 courses as other schools do.
My experience with VOX was fantastic. I did a 2 month private online course with Isabel and I was amazed at how much I actually learned in such a short time. She is a very skilled teacher and the lessons were always relaxed and friendly. When I struggled with some of the concepts she was able to really explain the intricate details In an easy way that really helped me progress and really understand what I was learning. I will definitely continue on with VOX and Isabel, I highly recommend their services for learning German.

For every language we teach at VOX-Sprachschule, we focus on speaking, as it is the most natural form of communication. Many people concentrate on writing and reading, which prevents them from feeling like they are making progress in their target language. We try to approach this learning process differently: when you train yourself to speak first, grammar simply becomes a tool to support you in your language-learning journey. Reading and writing should come naturally, while speaking needs to be practiced at least 15 minutes a day.
