I began my journey of learning German at VOX-Sprachschule Winterthur at the A2 level, and it has been an incredible experience. The school has well-structured courses and thoughtfully prepared materials that supported my learning at every step. I noticed significant progress in my skills almost immediately, which motivated me to continue with confidence and aim for the B2 level in the future. The administrative team was extremely responsive to any questions, whether communicated via telephone or email. Our teacher, Daniel Margiotta, was exceptional—humble, professional, and assertive in his teaching approach. I truly appreciate his dedication and the effort he put into making the lessons engaging and effective. The many conversations during the lessons allowed me to speak much more fluently and expanded my active vocabulary. With Leah, we often looked at the etymology, precise meaning, and usage of new vocabulary, which made it much easier for me to remember and understand them. Leah's attentive and friendly teaching style suited me perfectly. I would definitely take her classes again. Off the top of my head, nothing comes to mind that could have been improved, except perhaps that we only received the books halfway through the course, which wasn't your fault and wasn't really a problem. Wir haben mit Leah oft die Wortherkunft, die genaue Bedeutung und den „Verwendungsbereich“ von neuen Vokabeln angeschaut, was es mir enorm erleichtert hat mir diese zu merken und zu verstehen. Leahs aufmerksame und sympathische Art zu unterrichten hat sehr gut zu mir gepasst. Ich würde sofort wieder zu ihr in den Unterricht gehen. Gerade spontan kommt mir nichts in den Sinn, das man hätte besser machen können, ausser vielleicht dass wir die Bücher erst Mitte des Kurses erhalten haben, was erstens nicht euer Fehler war und zweitens gar nicht so gestört hat. Leah hat das super gemanagt :)

I started studying German with Patrick last year, A1 level. I fully recommend him as a teacher. He works with passion, his lessons are interactive and very productive. I am now attending the A2 course and I am very satisfied.

This is an amazing experience ☺ I participated in german B2 and now on C1 level. My teacher, Priska, is very good at understanding individual strengths and needs and adapts the lesson accordingly, no matter if in a group or private lesson context. The tempo is intense with homework in between the lessons. The upside is the great progress that you feel which comes in a short period of time. The school is so great that it makes me want to continue studying more languages once I'm happy with my German ☺

I initially selected VOX from among a handful of recommended language schools in Zurich because of its broad course offering. But I’ve stayed with VOX because of my incredible teacher, Isabelle. She took me from having absolutely zero knowledge of the German language to passing my A1 exam (which I needed as a condition of my visa to remain in Switzerland) in three months during our small group A1 course (which covered all of A1 and included supplementary test prep material). After completing this group course, I have continued taking individual lessons with Isabelle, completing A2, and am currently working through B1. I would highly recommend VOX, especially Isabelle – she is incredibly professional, has a very effective teaching method, and is patient but also knows when to push you ahead.

I have loved everything about this Sprachschule, from the structure, to the teacher, to the administration. They are very quick at responding, very kind, and efficient. I have been in contact with different staff members, Ekaterina and Maria, and they have both been amazing. In addition, my teacher Yvonne is always energetic and helpful, encouraging us to speak and listening with so much patience. I am so happy to be continuing with them and would recommend it to anyone. I do feel like my German is already so much better.
