I highly recommend taking your German classes at VOX. And even more so I recommend requesting Alexander Lips as your teacher. Over the last year or so I've taken a few classes with Alexander (B1, B2, C1) and I've waited to make a review as I've been gate keeping his greatness. He is the best language instructor I've ever had and the most passionate. It is hard to stay motivated to study a language and it's hard to attend an evening course after work. But this isn't the case in Alexander's class. His expertise is inspiring. The course was completely tailored to our goals and our motivations. We explored poetry, books and presentations, all of which was frankly fun and enriching. We learned grammar, practiced speaking and reading, all while learning about history and art. I can also say I've read two books in German now which is super satisfying and it also gives me more to talk about to my friends in German. If anything I wish I had more time to learn and take advantage of Alexander's great instruction. Another very unique skill of Alexander's is his deep understanding of etymology and applying the skill to make words stick in your mind. He can break down words into components to then make connections to others words, languages, history, or stories. He shows the patterns to look for to do the same. There are words I'll never forget because he took the time to really give us the depth of the word. Such a talent to have! Huge thank you to VOX for such great organization and a huge thank you to Alexander for all the work and care he puts in his instruction. So, if you've read to here you should really go register already for a course!

I am currently learning Norwegian and I have to say this school is the best. My teacher, Kirsten, has a lot of patience and she explains everything good and clear. I am satisfied with the course ( couldn’t be better organised - full flexibility ). I would definitely recommend it.

I have tried other schools before but I felt confident to start speaking in Vox-Sprachschule lessons. I really took advantage of the learning time trying to comunicate in German. That was possible thanks to Polina, an amazing teacher, super dinamic, with strong focus on speaking and without loosing the joy and fun while learning. Also the school is very flexible to attend students needs. Unspected, i needed to change shifts and there was an option so they solved it really fast. I would really like to continue my learning there!

I took some swiss-german courses with Silvan per Zoom. It was perfect, efficient, well organised. This school has very friendly teachers. Recommanded.

My experience with VOX has been overall very positive and I cannot stress enough how their format of teaching to a maximum of 4 people at a time helps students developing their linguistic skills faster: you have more time to speak, to ask questions and to interact with your co-students. Isabelle has been a fantastic teacher. I attended A1 and A2 German courses with her. She was always ready to help whenever I needed assistance and answered my questions super quickly every time. As someone with learning difficulties I find languages very difficult. I have private lessons in person and Fabian, my teacher, has helped so much in all aspects of my German. Our experience with VOX Language School has been nothing short of amazing. We enrolled for an A2 German course in February and it was the best decision we made. Tri, our teacher has been super patient, always asking us for feedback and constantly adjusting the course to our level and needs. He has provided us with a lot of resources to practice German, on top of the book and I really enjoy his teaching method. The communication with everyone at the school has been great! I would recommend this school to anyone looking to learn a new language or improve their current level.

Vox have been really great ever since my first contact and communication with them. Lilli was really great about helping me to find the right course and get everything set up. I have taken private German lessons with Elly and she has been an amazing teacher. I've never been good at learning languages, she is patient and encouraging, but also gently pushes me to outperform my own expectations and keep my learning moving along. I'm really grateful.
