We’ve taken the A1 and A2 classes with Maria from Voxsprachschule, and it’s been great. Learned at a very high pace, tailored to our skill sets. Maria made the discussions enjoyable and interactive. Highly, highly recommended!

I attended a three-month-long B2 English course and can definitely recommend it. The small class sizes were great—we had a class of just four people, and everyone had different strengths and weaknesses. With such small classes, our teacher, Mariia Fedorova, was able to assign tasks individually, making the learning process much more efficient. Overall, I highly recommend both the school and Mariia Fedorova as a teacher.

I highly recommend taking your German classes at VOX. And even more so I recommend requesting Alexander Lips as your teacher. Over the last year or so I've taken a few classes with Alexander (B1, B2, C1) and I've waited to make a review as I've been gate keeping his greatness. He is the best language instructor I've ever had and the most passionate. It is hard to stay motivated to study a language and it's hard to attend an evening course after work. But this isn't the case in Alexander's class. His expertise is inspiring. The course was completely tailored to our goals and our motivations. We explored poetry, books and presentations, all of which was frankly fun and enriching. We learned grammar, practiced speaking and reading, all while learning about history and art. I can also say I've read two books in German now which is super satisfying and it also gives me more to talk about to my friends in German. If anything I wish I had more time to learn and take advantage of Alexander's great instruction. Another very unique skill of Alexander's is his deep understanding of etymology and applying the skill to make words stick in your mind. He can break down words into components to then make connections to others words, languages, history, or stories. He shows the patterns to look for to do the same. There are words I'll never forget because he took the time to really give us the depth of the word. Such a talent to have! Huge thank you to VOX for such great organization and a huge thank you to Alexander for all the work and care he puts in his instruction. So, if you've read to here you should really go register already for a course!

I highly recommend VOX! As a beginner with no previous knowledge of German I learnt a lot thanks to the very patient and professional teacher Ruben! I also liked the size of the group and the location.

The methodology, which is based on speaking, is very successful in the learning process. I took two levels of German at this School and I noticed quick progress. During this time I had 5 teachers and all of them were amazing!! their explanations were very clear and thanks to them, it was easier to improve my German.

I have just completed A1 German intensive with Ruben and I have to say, it really makes a difference when you have a teacher who is truly passionate about what they are teaching. The course felt well organised and I felt comfortable making mistakes (lots of them!) Very personal service, good organization and high quality of the lessons, even if they were taught online. We covered a whole level within one course and I noticed the difference right away in real life conversations!!! Within a few weeks I was able to refresh all the knowledge I already had and actively build on this, which is exactly what my goal was! The lessons were in a small group, which is very nice as you meet new people and can practice together, but the group is still small enough to get personal attention. There is a very good balance between speaking, grammar and vocabulary in every lesson. As part of the course you get a book that is okay (I would like some more grammar explanation in the book, it is mostly exercises), however there are a lot of good exercises that we were not able to cover all during the course, which allows you to keep practicing even after the course. What I appreciated most is the tips from the teacher about common phrases and swiss terms, that only a native speaker can tell you and you definitelly do not get through platforms like DuoLingo that I was using before! All with all definitely very happy I joined the course :)

I had online German course B2 level . There were only 3 people in our class, so I had a lot more chance to talk in German. My teacher Isabel was very professional and friendly, I would definitely recommend her for the lesson. She always gave us the homeworks and sent us back correted answer quickly which helped me a lot as well. It costs quite a lot, but as there are not many students in a class, so it was worth it. Unfortunately, there was no administrations office in Winterthur branch, so it seems all enquries are done only with email or the telephone. But Administrative person calling me back in a short time.

I had a wonderful experience with this German school! The customer service was exceptional, and the classes were tailored to my individual level.
