I had a German A1 course in Vox, with Yelyzaveta Berezovska as a teacher. I am very satisfied with Elly's teaching approach. She was paying attention to each student's progress and helped us overcome the difficulties that we had with the material. The classes were structured well with short repetitions of the previously learned material, then learning new material, summarising what we had learned at the end of each class, and setting homework assignments. Besides following the workbook, there were a lot of interactive exercises that Elly had prepared herself, that challenged us to practice what we had learned. Also a lot of out of the book homework in addition. I had the feeling that I was progressing after each class. The workbook "Sprachniveau A1+ Begegnungen, Deutsch als Fremdsprache" by Anne Buscha and Szilvia Szita we used in the class was structured and thought through extremely well. What I like about the school is that there is an option to visit the classes online. This is really convenient not to miss classes when traveling. The online courses worked surprisingly well, as the school classrooms are equipped for online teaching as well and Elly was making sure that you feel like you are really in the classroom. The team in Vox was really collaborative and helpful. The location of the school on Central was very convenient.

I came to this school with 0 knowledge of German. I was very nervous at the beginning but the teachers at this school are so welcoming and really make you feel at ease. I especially find Christina's teaching approach really great and feel Ive learnt so much in her classes (both private and joint classes). I couldn't recommend this school enough!

Last spring I enrolled to the B1 German course in a team of five and Alexander Lips as our teacher. I am very happy with my decision and I can definitely recommend it. Alexander is a great teacher with a lot of knowledge and experience. He was very supportive throughout the course and he always encouraged me to speak more and corrected my mistakes in a constructive way. He also gave me useful tips and tricks on how to pronounce words correctly and how to avoid common errors. He made the lessons fun and engaging by using different materials and activities. Alexander also explained the grammar rules clearly and thoroughly. He used simple and easy-to-understand examples to illustrate the concepts and showed me how to apply them in different contexts. He also provided me with exercises and homework to practice what I learned and to reinforce my knowledge. He always checked my answers and gave me feedback on how to improve them. Our teacher was also very flexible and responsive to our needs. He asked us what our goals and expectations were at the beginning of the course and tailored the lessons accordingly. He also regularly asked us if we had any questions or suggestions and adjusted the pace and content of the lessons based on our feedback. I would highly recommend this German course to anyone who wants to learn or improve their German skills. Alexander is a professional and great teacher who knows how to teach the language effectively and enjoyably. I've had the opportunity to learn German A2 at Vox from May until August. My teacher Frau Jefremova was amazing, always punctual, well-prepared, and encouraged asking questions. It was a fun learning experience, done in an absolutely professional yet friendly and respectful environment. The focus on spoken part of language during the lessons actually took away the fear of speaking in public. Rest of the staff at school were also always willing to help and guide in matters of communication and information. Would definitely consider continuing further learning at Vox.
