The teacher Ruben has been great and is always able to explain concepts in a way that make them more understandable and helps with learning. I initially selected VOX from among a handful of recommended language schools in Zurich because of its broad course offering. But I’ve stayed with VOX because of my incredible teacher, Isabelle. She took me from having absolutely zero knowledge of the German language to passing my A1 exam (which I needed as a condition of my visa to remain in Switzerland) in three months during our small group A1 course (which covered all of A1 and included supplementary test prep material). After completing this group course, I have continued taking individual lessons with Isabelle, completing A2, and am currently working through B1. I would highly recommend VOX, especially Isabelle – she is incredibly professional, has a very effective teaching method, and is patient but also knows when to push you ahead.

I am currently taking German A1 with VOX-Sprachschule and have been very happy with their concept. The small group size and the skillful teacher have made it easy to reach the goals set, and I signed up for the next level without hesitation. Importantly, I travel a lot in my work and have therefore had to miss out on a number of classes, but this has never been an issue. The teacher has kindly provided me with homework for the lessons missed, so that I have had no problems keeping up with the other students. Also from the admin side everything has been very streamlined. All in all, I warmly recommend this language school.
